El Paseo de la Presa; se llegó a caracterizar como la zona rica y moderna de la ciudad de Guanajuato. A mediados del siglo XVIII se inició la construcción de la Presa de la Olla alrededor de en una finca que se le conocía como el Rancho de la Olla. Esta Presa fue una de las obras civiles más importantes del siglo XVIII, y ha sido sede de las fiestas más emblemáticas de la ciudad. Mientras tanto el Paseo de la Presa, resguarda la Presa de San Renovato, el parque Florencio Antillón, el Jardín de las Acacias, y diversas casonas que muestran el apogeo e las minas de Guanajuato, así como las influencias artísticas de la época, un gran ejemplo de esto el Art Decó el cual se puede observar claramente en ciertas casas puntualmente que observaremos durante el recorrido. Esta será una oportunidad para apreciar diversos estilos arquitectónicos de vanguardia característicos del Porfiriato. Disfrutemos de este barrio menos bullicioso, pero no por eso menos encantador.”

Meanwhile, the Paseo de la Presa preserves the San Renovato Dam, the Florencio Antillón park, the Acacias Garden, and several large houses that show the apogee of the Guanajuato mines, as well as the artistic influences of the time, a great example of this the Art Decó which can be clearly observed in certain houses that we will observe during the trip.
